This is a modern combine harvester, or simply combine – a machine designed to harvest a variety of grain crops. The name derives from its combining four separate harvesting operations—reaping, threshing, gathering, and winnowing—to a single process.
It can deliver at least 348hp, and has storage of around 9000 litre of grain.
This particular series was produced between 2012 – 2020, and costed between €278000 and €403000. If I recall correctly, the basic servicing of this machine costs at least €3000, and needs to be done every 500 hours of running.
Too bad I couldn’t see this in action but even spotting it closely was a good experience.
