The main purpose is to produce, with good environmental considerations, raw materials that are refined into renewable products such as sawn timber, paper, cardboard and bioenergy.

The forest is an invaluable resource that binds carbon dioxide and provides a renewable alternative to fossil materials. Young growing trees bind more carbon dioxide than old ones. For every tree felled, at least two new ones are planted. Harvesting and cultivating production forest gives these companies the opportunity to test new techniques and new ways of harvesting.
