Being a cat lover and observer , I can comprehend its moods and actions. Its probably the only animal which owns a human being and is not owned. I’m a misanthropist to some extent, hence, I hold cats in high esteem for manipulating the cunning human mind 😉

In the morning when I open the door,
I’m greeted by a meow,
While its still lying on the floor,
It demands as if I owe
It rubs itself against my feet bare,
Flattering to get attention,
And follows me everywhere,
Its ‘humility’ not to mention
To its persistence I give in,
And hurriedly rush inside,
I feel it now bears a grin,
As its demand I abide
As I emerge with a milk bowl
It starts to swirl and stride,
Its meows turn into a bawl,
Now I quietly step aside
Quickly the milk is gone,
It links it lips with conceit,
And walks over the lawn,
Which is its favorite retreat
It won’t recognize me for some span,
And I know there’s a catch,
For a mean creature like man,
A Cat is a mighty match …
